Barber Shop

The Oliver Hotel Barber Shop, shown in this early 1900s photograph, was located on the northwest corner of Main and Washington Streets. All three barbers are sporting moustaches, which was very popular at the turn of the 19th-20th century. Of the men in the chairs, two also have facial hair. The third customer and the onlooker are the only two who are clean-shaven. Donated by the Gail Davis Estate.
