These four young ones (Dick Szymanski, Lucian Szymanski, Clem Szymanski, and Gene Soberalski) are going for a ride in a wheelbarrow pushed by Theodora Szymanski, Dick’s grandmother. Notice the rag rug, placed by Mrs. Szymanski, no doubt, to make the ride more comfortable for the kids and perhaps to keep their clothing clean. By her long skirt and sailor-style blouse, along with the Dutch Boy haircuts on some of the boys, the picture appears to have been taken in the 1920s or ‘30s. Donated by Lily A. Szymanski.
