Celebrating 75 Years of Logan

In 1950, a small group of people, brought together through the shared idea that they could help make the lives of individuals with disabilities, and their families, better, gathered their limited resources and sought to create a center that could be a vital resource for these people. Through their own determination and the generosity of others, they created the LOGAN Center, a place for people with disabilities and their families to seek resources for a community long forgotten.

Now 75 years later, LOGAN has grown to become an essential institution in our community. From a small rundown school to multiple centers, group homes, and outreach programs, LOGAN has come a long way from its humble roots.

Celebrating 75 Years of Logan showcases the astounding work LOGAN does for a community that is often overlooked. Explore the accomplishments of each decade of LOGAN’s 75-year history. We at The History Museum are delighted to share the story of this essential organization in our community.
